What is EXW?
EXW is a delivery term EX
Works specified in INCOTERMS 2000.
EXW means that the seller
delivers when he places the goods at disposal of the buyer
at the seller's premise or warehouse.
The goods delivered with EXW
are not cleared yet for export and not loaded yet on
vehicle.
This also means that the
buyer should bear all costs and risks of loss or damage from
that point.
EXW term does not require the
seller to clear the goods for export.
It is recommended
to verify specific details in Incoterms 2000.
