The International Franchise Association, founded in 1960, is a
membership organization of franchisors, franchisees and
suppliers. Their web site provides one-stop shopping for
franchise information.
International Franchising contains a majority of the world's
proven franchises. Their site features a directory that contains
extensive profiles on over 1,200 franchisors.
International Society of Franchising (ISOF), a
multidisciplinary, multinational membership organization
composed primarily of university professors. Most members
conduct scholarly research to enhance knowledge of the
franchising phenomenon. Sixteen countries are represented in
ISOF’s membership and many study international franchising.
Three hundred and seventy-two (372) franchise research papers
are available from IFM.
